OSMA Patient Satisfaction Program

Welcome to OSMA's Patient Satisfaction Program!

With tort reform in place and liability rates trending downward, the healthcare environment in Ohio continues to improve. However, the risk of medical liability lawsuits remains a top priority for all physicians. As such, the Ohio State Medical Association is launching a new service, the Patient Satisfaction Program, which gives physician members the opportunity to manage medical liability risk through patient satisfaction.

Over the past several years, a variety of studies have identified the correlation between medical liability risk and patient satisfaction. Based upon the data, providing world-class service and creating high levels of patient satisfaction are important components of a well-rounded risk management framework. This new program will enable member physicians to deploy online patient satisfaction surveys on a year-round basis. The service will also provide access to the survey results for the purposes of constant process improvement.

This program, which is available to OSMA members at no charge, will also allow physicians to benchmark their practice results with similar practices in Ohio. Click on the links below to learn more about the OSMA Patient Satisfaction Program!
